Independent: No Affiliation With Any Builder, Real estate or Insurance Company
A dispute inspection is only worth something if the inspector has no stake in the outcome.
Zoom BPI is not affiliated with any builder, insurer, real estate agent, or property management company. Every assessment we provide is independent, our obligation is to the person who engaged us, and to an accurate account of what we found.
Our role is to give you an accurate, documented picture of what is actually there — so you can negotiate, escalate, or resolve from a position of evidence.
Our reports document visible defects, workmanship concerns and compliance issues in plain language with photographic evidence.
Every inspection is carried out by a QBCC-licensed inspector using professional-grade equipment
What We Asses
Zoom BPI provides independent building inspections, defect assessments and construction consultation services for residential and commercial disputes across Brisbane and surrounding areas.
Owner vs builder disputes
Defects identified after practical completion, incomplete or non-compliant works, and workmanship concerns during or after construction. We document what’s there — so you’re not relying on the builder’s word alone.
Body corporate and strata matters
Defect assessments affecting common property, shared structure, waterproofing and water penetration across unit and apartment complexes. Where the source and responsibility aren’t clear, an independent report cuts through the back-and-forth.
Second opinion inspections
If you’ve received a report or scope from a builder, insurer or contractor and want an independent view, we provide a separate assessment for comparison. A second set of licensed eyes often tells a different story.
Owner vs insurer disputes
Independent assessment of storm, flood, water ingress and moisture-related damage against the insurer’s scope of works and claim documentation. We give you an evidence base that isn’t produced by the party managing the claim.
Practical completion and handover disputes
Independent inspection before you accept the keys — while rectification is still the builder’s legal obligation. Once you sign off, the burden of proof shifts to you.
Construction progress and stage disputes
Concerns about works at frame, lock-up or other construction stages — including non-compliant tie-downs, waterproofing failures and incomplete works that have been signed off but shouldn’t have been.
